In today’s fast-paced world, where almost all communication takes place online or via cell phone, I’ve found myself longing for a pen-pal friendship. And while searching for people who feel the same way, I ended up on this site.

I’ve had pen-pal friendships before, but unfortunately they all fizzled out over time due to everyday life, changing interests, and so on.

That’s why I’d like to give it another try now and find some truly long-lasting pen pals. :)

I really enjoy writing long, detailed letters that can cover everything from deep topics, hobbies, and interests to everyday life, wishes, dreams, or various other subjects. To me, my pen-pal relationships are real friendships. That’s why I’m not looking for an endless number of them, but just a few. I prefer to write my letters by hand on stationery, which I also like to decorate with colorful stickers or drawings.

What I’m looking for in a future pen pal relationship is, above all, honesty and a genuine desire to write long, personal letters and stay in regular contact. Being responsive to each other and open-minded are just as important. Of course, I’d also be very happy if we shared some common hobbies and interests. :) Also, you shouldn’t have a problem with the fact that I suffer from depression and anxiety.

I’m more of a reserved person—honest, calm, sensitive, empathetic, and always there for my friends. I’m curious and have a wide range of interests. My interests include, among other things, castles and palaces, music, movies and TV shows, documentaries, books and history, psychology, creativity, other countries and cultures...

It might also be important to mention for my future pen pals that I’m single, don’t have children, and live alone.

I’m looking exclusively for people here to build a genuine friendship through letters—not relationships or anything like that.
